Talene is a leader of effective and creative people strategies that align to business, local economic and social priorities. She believes in investing in modern capacities that help build inclusive and people-centered workplaces.
From 2007 to 2018, Talene served in various corporate leadership roles for Ontario’s second largest employer – the Ontario Public Service - including, leading talent strategy and leadership development functions, Overseeing Province-wide strategies to attract, develop and retain hundreds of talented post-secondary graduates and mid-career internationally-trained professionals annually, and leadership of Corporate Social Responsibility programming. This mix of Strategic and Operational business management, Human Resources leadership, and Public Policy experience uniquely position her to drive value and measurable impact at the intersection of strategy, talent, culture and brand.
Today, Talene leads public policy to ensure excellence and accountability across Employment Ontario programming in support of job seekers and employers across Ontario. She also serves as an Advisory Council member for the Ted Rogers School of Business Management.
Prior to joining the Ontario Public Service, Talene consulted at national and international levels for the National Judicial Institute, Centre for International Governance Innovation, and Universalia Management Group.
She holds a MA from McGill University and combined honours degree from Western University.
